Pinal County’s economy will continue to remain strong in the coming year, a financial expert said Friday.
Elliott Pollack, an economist who has measured the pulse of Arizona’s economy for half a century, said that while economic growth will slow, the state, and the country, are nowhere near recession levels.
In fact, he said, Pinal County will reap benefits for several years, thanks in part to previous years’ planning recognizing the need to improve transportation infrastructure and in seeking companies such as Lucid Motors and Nikola Motor Company.
